Mid Century Modern Real Estate For Sale, Nov 30th, 2018

We're heading to both coasts this week to bring you some of the most interesting mid-century modern homes for sale in America. The Don Hershey, FLW-inspired home in New York is a steal at under $250,000 and the $435k post and beam in California is also reasonably priced for the Sacramento market. Of course, you could also just drool over the Buff and Hensman gem in Los Angeles. Check 'em out!

Don Hershey Home in Pittsford, NY - 2,550 sqft. ($249,900)

Known as 'The Wing House', this striking Frank Lloyd Wright inspired house designed by architect Don Hershey in 1951 is on the market. A unique floorplan with several wings, one curved, one cantilevered and plenty of nice details to interest the architectural fan, including built-ins, clerestory windows and a great roofline. The listing consists mostly of vintage shots from this website, which is a great place to read up on his work.

Our mid century modern real estate round up wouldn't be complete with out a ridiculously beautiful but wildly priced home like this one by mid century masters Buff and Hensman. Famous for their iconic post and beam homes this 1971 design is no exception. Wonderful carport entry, walls of windows, pool, and totally open plan living awaits. A real treat.
